FORMULATION
Each film-coated tablet contains 5mg Amlodipine (as Besilate)

INDICATION
Hypertension
Chronic stable angina
Confirmed or suspected vasospastic angina


DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Usual antihypertensive oral dose of Amlodipine is 5mg once daily with a maximum dose of 10mg once daily. Recommended dose for chronic stable or vasospastic angina is 5-10mg. Or as prescribed by a physician.
CONTRAINDICATION
Patients with known sensitivity to dihydropyridines.

PRECAUTION
Impaired renal function
Pregnancy and Lactation
Patients with hypotension

ADVERSE REACTION
Vasodilatory action such as dizziness, flushing, headache, hypotension and peripheral oedema.
Gastro-intestinal disturbances
Increased micturition frequency
Lethargy
Eye pain
Mental depression
Paradoxical increase in ischaemic chest pain may occur at the start of treatment.
In few patients excessive fall in blood pressure has led to cerebral or myocardial ischaemia or transient blindness.
Rashes, fever

AVAILABILITY
10 blister strip contain 10 tablets of Amloric 5mg / Amloric 10mg packed in 10s.

STORAGE
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30ºC.
